Super Bowl Novelty Props

The Super Bowl is synonymous with wild and wacky prop bets, and this year is no exception.

We’ll get into some of the best ones when more props are available.

For now, let’s focus on the best one.

Coin Toss

The coin toss is the ultimate 50/50 bet, but history has its own story to tell:

  • Heads: 28 times (48%)

  • Tails: 30 times (52%)

  • Longest Streaks: Heads (5), Tails (4, three times)

  • Most Wins by Team: Cowboys (6), 49ers (5), Dolphins (4), Chiefs (3), Raiders (3), Patriots (3), Seahawks (3)

Last year, the Chiefs called Heads and won both the toss and the game against the 49ers.

Heads has been the call in three of the last four Super Bowls, but Tails snapped a two-game streak for Heads at Super Bowl 57.

Tails has been on a roll this century, with a four-year streak in the mid-2010s and six appearances in the last 10 Super Bowls.

Brunson could be on attack mode tonight because of how much space KAT creates on the floor, which will stretch Edey onto the perimeter.

The Grizzlies play scrappy 1 on 1 defense but can beat off the dribble, which is what Brunson will be able to do.

With no shot blocking presence off the help really or on the ball help, Brunson should be able to get to his spots which will impact his potential assists since he’s a score first guard.

If any player comes over for the help (could be JJJ given his length and defensive presence), the Knicks are going to have to make shots on the catch and shoot but the Grizzlies recover well, so there’s enough for us here fundamentally to go under on Mr. Brunson IMO!

Penn State is one of the worst defensive rebounding teams in the Big 10, giving up offensive rebounds on over 30% of shot attempts.

Not only that, but Penn State runs a small-ball lineup after the injury to Puff Johnson.

Both Vladislov Golden and Danny Wolf should feast in this one - Expect Wolf to nab multiple offensive boards in addition to plenty on the defensive end.

Tonight, he gets the Wizards where Irving should be able to bypass Poole anytime and get any shot he wants.

Irving also plays more off the ball with Dinwiddie next to him, so he could be set up as well thus limiting his potential assists.

With blowout potential possibly here, I think Irving is on attack mode and we secure the plus money in this value spot.

Love fading offense when NYK faces a PACE-centered team because it causes the books jack up the total despite NYK ranking #25 in the department—and having to play fast is also not conducive for NYK's offensive attack that prefers it slow.

Indeed, one of trendscenter app's top systems of the day supports this:

Since 1995, in non-divisional post-Game-24 contests, when a home favorite with a .600-or-less ATS record was a favorite in their previous game and allows less PPG than league-average and they are facing a team with a .600-or-better over rate, backing the UNDER is a +17.9% ROI system. 🧪
