Community Cappers Lock In Their Weekly Picks

Last Week: 1-1 | -0.21u

  • Logan Webb Under 5.5 Ks (+105) ❌ / The UNDERground Lab

  • Trea Turner/Jarren Duran Hit Parlay (-126) ✅ / Locksmith

2025 Record: 42-34 | +7.15u

Elly De La Cruz excels against righties, averaging .298 against them this season and slightly above .275 over his career.

Going against Janson Junk and a below-average Marlin’s bullpen tonight, he’s in a great spot to keep his 3 game hit streak alive.

On the other end of the parlay, Maikel Garcia is hitting .303 on the season (8th in MLB) and even higher against lefties.

Tonight he’ll face Pirates’ left-hander Andrew Heaney, who has struggled on the road this season but still holds a 1.20 WHIP on the season.

Unless Heaney struggles to hit the box tonight, Garcia should have no problem getting 1 (or a couple) in play tonight.

Meanwhile, Baz tends to go ground.

Last time they faced each other, Baz barely went over this line at home.

The edge for us here will be his home/away splits as Baz's K% tends to dip on the road.

The Tigers splits against righties are also top tier so Baz could struggle to get volume here tonight.

  • High humidity levels could also factor in here.

  • Median of 6 still despite his recent resurgence in K's.

Think we can get an UNDER here 🤝

In just 2 additional games, Reds pitching has fewer walks, a lower ERA & WHIP, and more more strikeouts.

They’ll play their second series against the Marlins this year, having gone 1-2 in Miami.

  • That win came with Singer on the bump (6 IP: 4 Hits, 2 Earned Runs, 8 Ks)

Simply put, the Reds are the better team and have the right matchup to win this one by multiple runs.

We’ll take a little extra risk/upside (ML at -135) for a half unit.

I’ll take a stab here though, as Burke is projected to face at least 6 of the Jays righties.

Meanwhile, Burke throws more strikes against righties and tends to keep it in the middle or upper part of the zone which are the Jays' sweet spot.

  • They're also batting for grounders on the road in their L30 and have a 17.2 K%.

Burke's K numbers also dip vs righties and at home so I think we have an edge here 🤝
