Allen’s median is 4 so we just need to read this right.

The Twins are very swing friendly nowadays and they’ll do most of their damage swinging the middle or upper zone as they are shooting to slug.

Allen isn’t going to whiff hitters often with his weak fastball and is aiming for soft contact.

Most of his K’s come from chasing or painting the corners of the zone with his sweeper/changeup.

However, Allen’s sweeper and changeup rank below average in velo and spin so I think the Twins will be able to foul off those pitches which will probably lead to Allen throwing his fastballs in the zone, which he seems to tend to throw at the heart of the zone.

This is where the Twins will eat.

Most notably I see that his K% against lefties dips by 5% compared to righties and also when he plays at home.

I say lefties because the Mets are projected to roll out at least 5.

• High winds blowing towards Dobbins should affect his control.

It’s hard to be believe he has given up 0 walks so far to any lefty this young season.

The Mets are probably the toughest challenge to date for Dobbins in terms of chase% as they don’t chase often.

They’ll aim for the lower or middle plate, and area where Dobbins goes for his grounders at home.

Dobbins control seems to get worst as he goes through the order.

If the Mets are able to get to Dobbins early and increase his pitch count, which they certainly can do at Fenway, I think we got a good shot here.

• Dobbins has a median of 4 this month in K% and I predict he struggles here with his command!

Tonight he’ll be going up against a Pirates team that has struggled (and struck out) against him at a very high rate.

• In his 4 times out against the Pirates, Lodolo has yet to drop less than 7 strikeouts in one game.

The Pirates also hold a primarily right-handed lineup, which Lodolo fair better against than lefties.

With the Reds recent hot streak and how much the Pirates have struggled this year, this line caught me by surprise.
