A Surging Social Sportsbook, Betting Picks, and This Week's Sports Betting Schedule
In This Issue
WTF Is ‘Fliff’?
If you’re like me, you probably starting seeing Fliff randomly pop up in the last year, espcially within the past few months.

Fliff has actually been around since 2018, but didn’t get really get to the sports betting crowd until about a year ago (mid-2023).
But Fliff isn’t a sportsbook.
It also isn’t a daily-fantasy sports (DFS) app like PrizePicks or Underdog.
So WTF is Fliff, and how is it legal in 49 states?
Technically, Fliff is a “social sportsbook” - users buy “Fliff Coins” with real money, which can be used to place wagers.

The highest tier offers users 500,000 Fliff Coins + 250 Fliff Cash for $99.99
When users purchase Fliff Coins, they receive “Fliff Cash” as a promotion.
Fliff Cash is what matters - this virtual currency can be redeemed (1 Fliff Cash = $1) after a play-through period.
And that’s how Fliff skirts around not technically being a sportsbook or DFS app.
So, Should You Use Fliff?
Ultimately, it’s up to you.
They have a solid new customer bonus: Spend $50, Get $100 in Coins and FREE Fliff Cash.
Bonus Code: FLIFFBONUS
I signed up mainly for the bonus, and will be withdraw everything when I’ve played through the deposit.
They generally don’t have better odds or wider markets than any other sportsbook, so I don’t plan on sticking around for long.
Monday Night Football Betting Preview
The Buffalo Bills (3-2) head to MetLife Stadium to face the New York Jets (2-3) in a Monday Night Football showdown.
8:15pm ET | Bills -2
Bills ML: -130
Jets ML: +118
O/U: 41
Both teams are coming off losses, and the Jets are dealing with a coaching shake-up after firing Robert Saleh.
With interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich at the helm, the Jets look to rally against a Bills team that’s also licking its wounds from recent road defeats.
Buffalo Bills | New York Jets | |
---|---|---|
Week 5 | @ Texans L 23-20 | vs Vikings L 23-17 |
Week 4 | @ Ravens L 35-10 | vs Broncos L 10-9 |
Week 3 | vs Jaguars W 47-10 | vs Patriots W 24-3 |
Week 2 | @ Dolphins W 31-10 | @ Titans W 24-17 |
Week 1 | vs Cardinals W 34-28 | @ 49ers L 32-19 |
Buffalo Bills
The Bills started the season strong with a 3-0 record but have since faltered, losing their last two games.
Their offense has struggled against the tougher defenses they’ve faced, ranking 25th in EPA per play over the past two weeks.
The lack of depth at the receiver position has been evident throughout the season, with injuries to key players like Khalil Shakir limiting Allen's options.
Defensively, the Bills have been stout against the pass but have shown vulnerability against the run, ranking 22nd in defensive rush EPA.
Allen took a big hit last week, and is nursing an ankle sprain.
We all saw Josh Allen seemingly get knocked out, yet they just threw him a smelling salt and right back into the game. As if that was going to undo any head trauma he just suffered. 🤦🏾♂️

The extra day of rest should help, but I’m not expecting him to be at his best.
The Bills are 8-1 (SU) in their last nine games as favorites.
New York Jets
The Jets have experienced a tumultuous season, with a 2-3 record that includes both impressive wins and disappointing losses.
Their defense has been a bright spot, but the offense has been inconsistent, particularly with Aaron Rodgers managing a high ankle sprain.
Rodgers is crucial to the Jets' offensive success, and his ability to play through injury could be the difference maker.
Bills fans leaving New York to attend the Jets game tonight can expect dry conditions and temps in the upper 40s.
And Sunday in Orchard Park promises sunshine and temps in the 60s when the boys are back home.
Bonus: leaves at peak.— Kevin O’Neill (@KevinBuffalo)

The defense, led by a strong secondary and a formidable pass rush, will be key in limiting Allen’s ceiling for the night.
The firing of Saleh and the promotion of Ulbrich definitely mixes things up, but it remains to be seen how the team will respond.
The change in offensive play-calling duties from Nathaniel Hackett to Todd Downing adds another layer of uncertainty.
The Jets are 4-11 (ATS) in their last 15 games.
Betting Thoughts
The line for this game opened at Bills -3 and dropped to -2 after the Jets’ head coach announcement.
While coaching changes can sometimes galvanize a team, they can also lead to disarray, making the Jets a risky proposition in my eyes.
The Under (41 points) is appealing given both teams' recent offensive struggles and strong defensive performances.
Both QBs are slightly banged up and facing strong pass defenses.
I can see both teams relying on their run game for the majority of the game and chewing the clock accordingly.
Breece Hall
65 carries (17th) | 197 yds (34th) | 2 TD (T-20)
James Cook
70 carries (14th) | 309 yds (15th) | 4 TD (T-6)
The Jets will enjoy a slight home-field advantage at MetLife Stadium, which could play a role in a tightly contested game.
Luckily for the Jets, Rodgers is a veteran QB who should be able to take this coaching change in stride.

All capper picks 1 unit (1u) unless otherwise specified.
Overall Record: 4-6 | -0.05 units
Joe Brady has also publicly acknowledged that they have find a way to get Knox involved in the passing game, which I don’t blame given his fat extension he signed.
Could we see two TE featured sets??
Perhaps.
The Jets are also ranked 2nd in opposing TE targets and 3rd in receptions.
Weather report indicates high winds so passing could be affected here.
All signs point to further volume for Kincaid.
For + money, I’ll take a stab at this here!
Yes, you heard me right:
I’m all in on the Jets’ moneyline at +100.
This isn’t just any pick; it’s a contrarian play, a move that embraces the art of fading the public.
With Todd Downing taking over the offensive coordinator role for the Jets, Braelon is in a unique position to capitalize on his skillset.
Downing was the Titans’ OC during 2021-2022, and may utilize Allen (6’1”, 236lbs) similarly to how he used Derrick Henry.
Both running backs have a “bruiser” style, and Allen has already become an asset for the Jets.
The Bills defense hasn’t held up against the run well in the last few weeks, and I don’t expect tonight to be any different.
